IKAPETE East Java refutes corruption allegations following KPK clarification

The Ikatan Keluarga Alumni Pesantren Tebuireng (IKAPETE) East Java has responded to a clarification from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) regarding allegations of illicit money transfers. The KPK officially stated that no cash was handed over by PCNU Sekadau, debunking previous claims that suggested billions of rupiah were involved.

IKAPETE East Java Chairman Roisuddin Bakri stated that the organization had been subject to negative framing and systematic attempts to damage its reputation. He noted that a national agenda held at the MPR RI building was being unfairly linked to political maneuvering and money politics ahead of the 35th NU Muktamar. The organization maintains that its activities are purely academic and social, with no involvement in practical politics.
