Ikatan Notaris Indonesia confirms 2026 Congress will proceed

The Central Board of the Indonesian Notaries Association (PP INI) has confirmed that its 2026 Congress will proceed as scheduled in Semarang, Central Java, in October 2026.

This announcement comes despite ongoing legal dynamics following the Supreme Court cassation ruling Number 1470 K/PDT/2026. Chairman Irfan Ardiansyah stated that the legal proceedings do not automatically halt the organization's responsibility to execute its prepared agenda.

In addition to the congress, the organization will continue professional development programs, including the competency test (UKEN), particularly for extraordinary members. Ardiansyah emphasized that the priority remains protecting the interests of members, maintaining organizational unity, and ensuring legal certainty for notaries serving the public.
