IKEA and Xbox announce YXSTABY gaming furniture collection

IKEA and Xbox have announced a collaborative furniture collection named ‘YXSTABY’, scheduled for release on October 1, 2026. The collection consists of nine items designed to integrate gaming gear seamlessly into home interiors, moving away from traditional high-contrast RGB lighting and aggressive aesthetics.

Developed through a partnership between designers from both companies, including IKEA’s David Wahl and Xbox’s Elliot Hsu, the line includes functional pieces such as a gaming TV stand with casters, a lounge chair with controller storage, and a side table with built-in charging spaces. A standout item is a gaming stick-shaped stool, which was created using 3D design data from an Xbox wireless controller.

Other products in the lineup feature design motifs inspired by Xbox hardware, such as D-pad themed cushions and platters. The collection aims to provide solutions for gamers to organize peripherals and cables while maintaining a natural living room aesthetic.
