IKEA and Xbox launch YXSTABY gaming collection in Colombia

IKEA and Xbox have officially launched YXSTABY, a collaborative collection of nine products designed to integrate gaming equipment into everyday home environments. The collection was presented in Bogotá, Colombia, aiming to address the trend of gaming moving from dedicated desks to shared living spaces like living rooms and bedrooms.

The product line focuses on mobility and organization. Key items include a television stand on wheels that allows users to move screens and consoles between rooms, featuring ventilated compartments and cable management systems. Another centerpiece is a lightweight gaming armchair designed for various postures, including reclined positions, which includes a side pocket for controllers.

The collection also features decorative accessories inspired by Xbox hardware, such as cushions and trays shaped like a D-pad, stools modeled after analog thumbsticks, and a modular display case for collectibles and peripherals.
