IKEA and Xbox launch YXSTABY gaming furniture collection

IKEA and Xbox have partnered to launch YXSTABY, a nine-piece furniture and accessory collection designed to integrate gaming into everyday home life. The collection focuses on versatile pieces that function both during gameplay and as standard home decor, catering to users without dedicated gaming rooms.

Key items in the collection include a mobile TV unit with integrated storage, a controller storage box that doubles as a laptop stand, a mobile side table with charging capabilities, and a monitor stand. The design incorporates elements of the Xbox controller, such as a thumbstick-inspired bench and decorative items featuring the controller's aesthetic. The color palette follows a Scandinavian style with white, black, and beige tones, accented by green.

To celebrate the launch, an exclusive ‘YXSTABY Cosy Zone’ event will be held at the IKEA Oxford Street Live Studio in London on September 30th. The immersive space will allow fans to test the collection while playing various Xbox titles. The collection is scheduled to arrive in IKEA stores and online during the autumn.
