IKEA launches global space-optimization campaign

IKEA has launched a global campaign titled ‘Make space for what you love,’ focusing on affordable home organization and space optimization.

In Melbourne, Chengdu, and Beijing, the company has installed handcrafted 1:12 scale miniature homes created by artist Christopher Robin Nordström. These displays are designed to demonstrate how small, budget-friendly changes can improve living environments. The miniature models reflect local cultures, such as featuring specific kitchen setups in China and sporting references in Australia.

In Singapore, the campaign includes interactive store activities throughout September. This includes the ‘IKEA HEJ FIT Challenge’ in partnership with Volvo, where participants can compete for a Volvo EX30 electric vehicle. Other local initiatives include pillow fort competitions for families and home design showcases for new homeowners.
