Ildong Bioscience targets global markets at Vitafoods Asia

Ildong Bioscience, a health functional food subsidiary of the Ildong Pharmaceutical Group, participated in the Vitafoods Asia exhibition held in Bangkok, Thailand, from September 2 to 4. The company utilized the event to showcase its research and development capabilities and its functional probiotic materials to the global market.

Key products featured included Bacillus coagulans IDCC 1201 (SPORABLE) for sleep improvement and Bifidobacterium lactis IDCC 4301 (B. lactis Fit) for body fat management. The company also presented its patented four-layer coating technology designed to enhance the stability of probiotic raw materials, alongside its customized ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) solutions.

During a seminar hosted by the Korea Health Supplements Association, the company shared research results and human application test data regarding its sleep-related probiotic strain. Ildong Bioscience reported active discussions regarding business partnerships with numerous international companies. The company plans to continue its expansion into Southeast Asian markets, including Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore, as well as the US and Europe, with upcoming participation in Fi Asia Indonesia in Jakarta.
