Balkan regions face widespread electricity supply disruptions

Multiple regions across the Balkans are experiencing electricity supply disruptions due to both planned maintenance and technical issues.

In Bulgaria, several areas in the Varna region, including Kamenar, Nevsha, and Suvorovo, are facing power outages for repairs and facility maintenance. In Serbia, residents of Bojnik have reported frequent, unannounced daily outages, causing damage to appliances and affecting water supply for households using hydrophores. In Belgrade, planned maintenance by Elektrodistribucija Srbije is affecting various municipalities including Stari Grad, Vračar, and Zemun.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, planned works by Elektrodistribucija are causing outages in several Sarajevo municipalities, including Ilidža and Novi Grad, with some interruptions lasting up to seven and a half hours. Brčko is also seeing scheduled interruptions in specific streets.

In Montenegro, CEDIS has announced planned outages across various municipalities, including Podgorica, Tuzi, Nikšić, and Budva, to facilitate network maintenance.
