Ilie Bolojan faces criticism from Traian Băsescu and activists
Former Romanian President Traian Băsescu has issued sharp criticisms against interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, stating that Bolojan lacks the necessary experience and expertise to manage the national economy. While acknowledging Bolojan's administrative background in Oradea, Băsescu argued that local administration experience does not automatically translate to the complexities of leading a state. He urged Bolojan to prioritize national interests over political pride by attempting to rebuild the governing coalition.
In a separate incident, activist Marian Tivilic Moroșanu, also known as Marian Ceaușescu, confronted Bolojan following a television appearance. Moroșanu questioned the interim Prime Minister regarding the recovery of state funds and the potential reduction of the number of parliamentarians to 300. Bolojan did not provide a response to these questions and departed in his vehicle.
