Ilie Bolojan may face DNA questioning in three investigations

Romania’s interim prime minister Ilie Bolojan could be summoned to the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) in connection with three separate cases. The first probe centers on the electoral campaign and financing of Bucharest mayor‑candidate Ciprian Cișcu, which authorities say was supported by Bolojan. The second investigation involves PNL member Oana Gheorghiu, accused of influencing contracts with a German group; Bolojan may be called as a witness or to clarify his role. The third case relates to Viorel Pașca, linked to controversial asylum operations, with documents signed by Bolojan during his tenure as head of the Bihor County Council. Bolojan has denied any wrongdoing in all matters.
