ILLIT breaks Japanese sales record with 71,009 copies of second single

Oricon reported that ILLIT's second Japanese single "I Got Your Back" sold 71,009 copies in its first week, placing it at number four on the weekly singles chart for the period July 27 – August 2 (chart dated August 10). The track, featuring JISOO and MOMOKA of the Korean girl group HANA, also topped AWA’s real‑time rise chart and entered the top ranks of LINE Music, Apple Music Japan and Spotify Japan.

The accompanying music video entered YouTube’s global weekly popular music video chart. ILLIT promoted the release on Japanese TV programmes Mezamashi TV and CDTV Live! Live!, performed a joint stage with CUTIE STREET at the WANGAN Festival, held a launch event at Diversity Tokyo Plaza, and is scheduled to appear at LuckyFes’26.
