Overview
In late July 2024, the Japanese‑Korean group ILLIT released the digital single “I Got Your Back” (featuring JISOO and MOMOKA of HANA). The track quickly rose on streaming services and its music video amassed one million YouTube views within four hours. In Japan the song entered the Oricon Daily Single Ranking at No. 3 on 28 July, and the group scheduled TV and radio appearances on NHK’s “Venue101” and Nippon Broadcasting System.
A week later, Oricon reported that the single sold 71,009 copies in its first week, placing it at No. 4 on the weekly singles chart for the period 27 July–2 August. The song also topped AWA’s real‑time rise chart and ranked highly on LINE Music, Apple Music Japan and Spotify Japan. The accompanying video entered YouTube’s global weekly popular music video chart. ILLIT promoted the release on Japanese TV programmes, performed with CUTIE STREET at the WANGAN Festival, held a launch event at Diversity Tokyo Plaza, and announced upcoming appearances at LuckyFes’26.
