Formosa celebrates 30 years of the PAIPPA agricultural program

The province of Formosa celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Integral Assistance Program for the Small Agricultural Producer (PAIPPA), an initiative launched in 1996 by Governor Gildo Insfrán. The commemorative events included a central ceremony at Galpón “G” in the capital city, featuring discussions on the program's historical roots in the agrarian movements of the 1960s and 1970s.

During the celebrations, officials held a panel discussion regarding the program's impact on production, health, education, and land rights. The event also included the delivery of commemorative plaques to producer associations and motorcycles to PAIPPA promoters.

Local leaders, including the Mayor of Ingeniero Juárez, Rafael Nacif, emphasized that the program serves as a tool for social justice and community organization, helping small-scale farming families achieve territorial stability and economic development through state support and training.
