Regional youth sports programs conclude summer sessions

Various regional sports organizations have concluded their summer programs aimed at youth development and physical activity.

In Venezuela, the Aragua Voleibol Club held a sports clinic in Francisco Linares Alcántara to train 113 girls, with plans to formalize youth categories to create a talent pipeline for national teams.

In Mexico, several municipal programs concluded their seasonal activities. Indeporte in Chiapas hosted 300 youths for various disciplines including swimming, boxing, and soccer. In Morelia, Imcufide’s ‘Verano de Campeon@s’ engaged approximately 800 children in activities such as gymnastics and swimming. Additionally, the Instituto Municipal del Deporte de Ahome completed its first aquatic camp for 28 children in Los Mochis.

In Spain, Algeciras hosted around 800 participants through its multi-sport campuses, while Almodóvar del Campo saw 117 children participate in a program combining padel and swimming organized by the local town hall and Club Pádel ‘La Herradura’.
