Immutep receives A$0.86 million Australian R&D tax incentive

Immutep Limited, a biotechnology company specializing in immunotherapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases, has received an A$856,669 cash rebate from the Australian Federal Government’s R&D tax incentive program. This rebate covers eligible research and development expenditures incurred during the 2025 fiscal year.

The funding follows an approval from AusIndustry for an Advance overseas finding, which allowed certain international R&D activities to qualify for the incentive. Additionally, Immutep’s subsidiary, Immutep S.A.S., is receiving the French CIR tax incentive for activities in the European Union, and its German subsidiary, Immutep GmbH, is eligible for Germany’s Forschungszulage program.

Immutep intends to use this non-dilutive funding to advance research for its product candidates, efti and IMP761. The company expects its current cash reach to extend into the first half of CY2028.
