Imola officials address maintenance issues at Parco delle Acque Minerali
Local authorities in Imola are addressing several environmental and maintenance issues at the Parco delle Acque Minerali following complaints from the ‘Amici del Parco’ group.
To address concerns regarding the park's lake, Vice Mayor Elisa Spada noted that water circulation was enhanced in May with the installation of two new pumps. Efforts to manage the organic load include reducing the number of waterfowl. Regarding a rodent issue, a deratization campaign was launched in June, and officials are considering installing rodent-proof food dispensers.
In terms of greenery, new trees were planted in late 2025 to replace those lost to decay. Additionally, drone surveys are scheduled for September on Monte Castellaccio to plan for landslide restoration.
