Imran Khan's sons allege safety threats in Pakistani prison
The sons of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, Sulaiman and Kasim, have expressed grave concerns regarding their father's safety while held at Adiala Jail. In an interview with Sky Sports, they alleged that there are blatant attempts to kill him and noted that his isolation has worsened, with him being confined to a cell for more than 23 hours a day.
The interview, aired during a Test match between England and Pakistan, prompted a complaint from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) regarding the broadcast.
Regarding recent medical movements, reports clarified that while viral social media content claimed Khan was transferred to Shifa International Hospital on August 20, 2026, he was actually examined at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS). Following a Supreme Court directive for a medical board examination, Khan was briefly moved for medical attention before being returned to Adiala Jail.
