IMSS Aims to Speed Up Services in Aguascalientes Amid Infrastructure Expansion
Misael Ley Mejía, head of the IMSS office in Aguascalientes, said the institute is implementing the "2‑30‑100" strategy from 2025 to make health services faster and more efficient. He highlighted steps such as offering online appointment scheduling, reducing in‑person paperwork, and improving productivity at existing facilities. After recent heavy rains, Ley Mejía confirmed no hospital damage thanks to preventive cleaning and waterproofing work. The agency is also advancing the construction of a new hospital in the Pabellón de Arteaga, with the first phase completed and a tender for the next stage underway, aiming for completion in the first quarter of next year.
