IMSS allows pensioners to check medical service eligibility online

Retirees and pensioners of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) can verify their eligibility for medical services online through the official digital services portal. This process allows beneficiaries to obtain a 'Constancia de Vigencia de Derechos' (Certificate of Validity of Rights), which serves as official proof of their right to receive medical care.

To complete the request, users must provide their CURP, Social Security Number (NSS), and a personal email address. The certificate is sent directly to the registered email once the procedure is finished. This digital tool is intended to help users avoid unnecessary trips to clinics by confirming their status before attending appointments or performing administrative tasks.
