IMSS conducts fire drills in Veracruz and addresses patient concerns in Coahuila

The Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) is conducting various administrative and community engagement activities across different regions. In Veracruz Sur, the institute has scheduled a fire drill for August 13 at 10:00 hours. This exercise involves 92 medical and administrative units to promote civil protection awareness and practice orderly evacuation procedures to identified low-risk zones.

In Coahuila, IMSS officials met with users at the General Zone Hospital No. 7 in Monclova to address grievances regarding medical care. During the meeting, participants submitted a formal written document outlining their concerns. The institute stated that while some issues were addressed immediately, the remaining points will be channeled to the appropriate departments for analysis and follow-up.
