IMTS 2026 to showcase manufacturing innovations in Chicago

The 2026 International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) is scheduled to take place from September 14–19 at McCormick Place in Chicago. As the largest manufacturing technology trade show in the Western Hemisphere, the event serves as a hub for industry innovators and professionals.

In anticipation of the event, MachiningCloud has launched a limited-time promotion aimed at assisting machine shops and engineers with digital transformation. The company’s cloud-based platform connects tool manufacturers with CAM programmers, offering features such as 3D digital twins and manufacturer-certified speeds and feeds to reduce setup times and data errors.

Additionally, FOBA Laser Marking + Engraving will showcase new laser marking solutions at the exhibition. FOBA plans to demonstrate its expertise in addressing complex industrial part marking across the medical, automotive, and electronics sectors. Key demonstrations will include the new Y. 0602 fiber laser system, designed for multi-level marking of metals and plastics, and a UV laser integrated into an M1000 workstation for low-heat applications.
