The International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2026 is scheduled for September 14–19 at McCormick Place in Chicago. FANUC America, collaborating with NVIDIA, Google Cloud, and AWS, plans to demonstrate ‘Physical AI’, enabling robotic systems to perceive and adapt to real-world manufacturing environments. ZEISS Industrial Quality Solutions will present measurement technologies, including multisensor coordinate measuring machines, 3D scanners, and AI-assisted analysis software. Amada Machinery Co., Ltd. will participate under the theme ‘AMADA ONE’, featuring the world premiere of a vertical ultra-fast band saw. DMG MORI will host Chicago Innovation Days, while JTEKT Machinery Americas plans to showcase seven products to address labor shortages and geopolitical risks.

Additional participants joining the lineup include Morris Group International, which intends to showcase innovations in machining and process improvement across three booths, featuring technology from industry leaders such as Tsugami and Okuma. Furthermore, Japanese company eve autonomy will exhibit its ‘eve auto’ service. This technology focuses on automating on-site logistics through indoor and outdoor autonomous transport, utilizing self-driving technology to enable unmanned transport in various environments, including at night or during rain, to address labor shortages in the manufacturing and logistics sectors.
