Inameh forecasts rainfall and strong coastal swells in Venezuela

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inameh) has issued weather alerts for Venezuela, forecasting increased cloud cover and variable rainfall across much of the country. In the morning, scattered drizzle is expected in areas including Delta Amacuro, northern Monagas, southern Sucre, parts of Bolívar, Amazonas, the Western Plains, the Andes, and Zulia.

During the afternoon and evening, cloud cover is expected to increase progressively, bringing rainfall of variable intensity to Sucre, Monagas, Anzoátegui, Bolívar, Amazonas, Miranda, the Capital District, La Guaira, Carabobo, Yaracuy, the Western Plains, the Andes, eastern Falcón, and Zulia. Temperatures are projected to range between a minimum of 18°C and a maximum of 28°C.

Additionally, Inameh warned of strong swells along the Venezuelan coast. Waves could reach up to 2.0 meters in the Orinoco Delta, the Insular Zone, and the Gulf of Venezuela, while waves in the eastern, central, and western coastal areas may reach 1.5 meters. Authorities recommend staying updated on sea and weather conditions, particularly in coastal regions.
