Incheon Council discusses Songdo Amusement Park development plan

The Incheon Metropolitan Council held a meeting on August 28 to discuss the revitalization of the ‘Songdo Amusement Park Renaissance Master Plan’. Council members Kim Woo-sung, Jeong Bo-hyeon, and Cho Seong-min met with representatives from the Incheon City Urban Development Division, Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), Incheon Housing and City Development Corporation (IH), the Songdo District Promotion Committee, and Saikan Co., Ltd.

The discussion focused on the progress of development blocks 2BL, 3BL, and 4BL. Key issues addressed included administrative procedures, securing business profitability, population planning and density standards, public contribution burdens, and the removal of accumulated items on the site.

Council members pledged to provide administrative support and explore institutional grounds for relocating the local used car complex to facilitate smoother project implementation.
