Incheon launches ICT Complex to drive AI talent training and industrial transformation

Incheon Metropolitan City and Incheon Techno Park have officially launched the ‘Incheon ICT Complex’ to foster artificial intelligence (AI) and software (SW) talent while supporting the AI transformation (AX) of local industries.

Supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), the complex serves as a regional hub for the ICT Innovation Square expansion project. The facility includes an AX practice training center, an open lab, an open lounge, and workbenches designed for education, practical training, and collaboration.

The project was funded with a total of 1.5 billion KRW, combining 1.2 billion KRW in national funds with 300 million KRW in local government funds. The complex aims to enhance regional industrial competitiveness by providing training, practical consulting, and digital technology education for both citizens and local enterprises, with a particular focus on the manufacturing sector.
