Incheon to host Chuseok sale of senior-made products

Incheon Metropolitan City will host the ‘2026 Chuseok Senior Job Production Sale’ from September 14 to 15 at the Incheon City Hall main building. The event features approximately 100 types of products handcrafted by seniors participating in local job programs, including Chuseok gift sets, crafts, household items, cookies, handmade syrups, and diffusers.

Eleven senior job support agencies in the region are participating in the sale. To facilitate easier purchasing, a pre-order period was held from September 1 to September 10 via Naver Forms, allowing citizens to pick up and pay for their items during the event hours (10:30 AM to 4:00 PM).

The initiative aims to expand market opportunities for elderly workers, support their financial independence, and share the social value of senior employment with the public. All proceeds from the sale will be reinvested into senior job program operations and increasing the income of participants. Incheon continues to develop various customized roles for seniors, including environmental services like recycling and social support roles in childcare and school programs.
