Inclusive sports initiatives held in Spain

The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and UPV IN are conducting inclusive sports awareness workshops across several Spanish municipalities, including Segorbe, Almussafes, Vila-real, and Villena. The project, supported by the Generalitat Valenciana, aims to provide training for clubs and non-profit organizations on structuring inclusive teams, securing sustainable funding, and implementing methodologies for working with people with disabilities.

In Albacete, the VIII Metasport Inclusive Race is scheduled for November 15. This non-competitive charity event features a 600-meter race for children and a 5-kilometer route for adults. The event is supported by local institutions, including the Albacete City Council and the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha, and involves social entities such as COCEMFE Albacete and Amiab Club.
