India and Denmark discuss MSME and innovation cooperation

India and Denmark held their fourth Joint Working Group (JWG) meeting in Copenhagen to discuss strengthening cooperation in the MSME sector, innovation, and technology. The discussions involved India’s Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and the Danish Patent and Trademark Office (DKPTO).

The meeting aimed to advance innovation and IP-led growth for small and medium enterprises. During the visit, the Indian delegation engaged with the Danish Ministry of Business and Competitive Affairs to exchange views on business development and the SME ecosystem.

Additional activities included participating in the TechBBQ Nordic startup event and visiting Aarhus University Innovation Kitchen and Agro Food Park. These engagements were intended to provide insights into Denmark’s approaches to startup mentoring, fundraising, and industry-academia linkages.
