India and Israel Activate Landmark Bilateral Investment Agreement

On July 4, India and Israel brought into force a new bilateral investment agreement that creates a modern, transparent framework for protecting and promoting cross‑border investments. The pact is designed to boost confidence for businesses, streamline regulatory processes and expand market access in both countries.

The agreement targets a wide range of sectors, including technology, innovation, manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare, renewable energy, cybersecurity, defence and digital infrastructure. Officials expect it to encourage long‑term capital flows, joint ventures, technology transfers and research collaborations, reinforcing the strategic partnership and supporting sustainable economic growth for both nations.
