India and Vietnam strengthen defense ties during military visit

Indian Army Chief of Staff General Dhiraj Seth met with Lieutenant General Le Van Huong, Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, during an official visit to New Delhi. The discussions focused on deepening defense cooperation and increasing military-to-military engagement to support regional stability and peace.

During the visit, Lieutenant General Le Van Huong paid tributes at the National War Memorial and received a ceremonial Guard of Honour at South Block. This meeting follows recent high-level defense talks between Indian Air Chief Marshal AP Singh and Vietnam’s General Nguyen Tan Cuong, aimed at strengthening the Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two nations.
