India and Zine Capital Invest highlight agricultural trends at SIAL Paris

At the SIAL Paris 2026 trade show, international food and agriculture players showcased diverse strategies for growth and sustainability.

The India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) participated as a partner country, presenting a theme focused on sustainable agriculture and women's empowerment. ITPO President Jawed Ashraf highlighted an ongoing agricultural revolution in India driven by small-scale farmers and the integration of technology, such as drones, AI, and IoT, to manage resources like water and fertilizer more effectively in the face of climate change. The Indian pavilion featured over 140 exporters focusing on plant-based proteins, rice exports, and traceable production methods.

Moroccan group Zine Capital Invest also utilized the event to advance its international expansion. Currently operating in over 40 countries across Africa, Europe, America, and Asia, the group introduced Kex, a new brand dedicated to the biscuit sector. Omar Afaf, General Manager of the Zine Food Complex, stated that the group aims to promote the ‘Made in Morocco’ label and showcase national expertise to global markets.
