India commissions indigenous anti‑submarine warship INS Dhanagiri

The Indian Navy has added the P‑17A class warship INS Dhanagiri to its fleet after it was built entirely with domestic design and technology at the Kolkata shipyard. Navy officials highlighted that the vessel incorporates modern propulsion, sonar, combat management, rocket launchers, torpedo tubes and advanced communication systems, with more than 80 % of its equipment sourced from Indian industries.
