LPG prices in India remain stable across major cities

Domestic LPG cylinder prices in India remain stable as of October 19, 2026. Major oil marketing companies, including Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum, have maintained current rates for the 14.2 kg domestic cylinders.

In major metropolitan areas, the 14.2 kg domestic cylinder is priced at ₹942 in New Delhi, ₹941.50 in Mumbai, ₹968 in Kolkata, and ₹957.50 in Chennai. Commercial 19 kg cylinders are priced at ₹2,810 in Delhi and ₹2,764.50 in Mumbai.

Regional variations exist due to local taxes, freight charges, and distribution costs. For instance, in Uttar Pradesh, prices range from ₹939 in Noida to ₹1,005.50 in Ayodhya. Patna currently sees some of the highest rates, with domestic cylinders priced at ₹1,031.50.
