India hosts commemorative rallies to mark 25 years of Narendra Modi’s service
Various commemorative campaigns are underway in India to mark 25 years of Narendra Modi’s service as Chief Minister and Prime Minister.
A ‘Seva Sankalp’ car rally, consisting of 25 sports cars, traveled from Patna to Varanasi. Each vehicle was decorated with posters and slogans highlighting central government welfare schemes related to women's empowerment, health, agriculture, and poverty alleviation. The rally was flagged off by Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and concluded at a village resort near Babatpur.
Simultaneously, the ‘Vadnagar to Varanasi: A Yatra of Seva’ is a large-scale motorcycle journey spanning 35,500 kilometers. Running from September 17 to October 7, the initiative involves 20 teams traveling through various states, cities, and villages. The journey focuses on social awareness and community service, including cleanliness drives at schools and temples, tree planting, distributing stationery to students, and supporting widows and elderly citizens. The campaign also aims to foster dialogue with youth and women regarding government schemes and social issues.
