India-Israel Nexus Platform Launched to Boost People‑to‑People Ties
A privately funded initiative called the India × Israel Nexus was launched on 26 February 2026 in Jerusalem. The platform, backed informally by Israel’s Foreign Ministry, aims to connect leaders, policymakers, businesses and cultural figures from the two countries to deepen strategic cooperation.
Organisers say the Nexus will build on existing defence, artificial‑intelligence, cybersecurity and agricultural collaborations – sectors where India is Israel’s largest defence‑arms customer and a supplier of military components. “The strongest relationships between nations are not built in boardrooms or government offices alone, but when people connect, trust each other and create opportunities,” said founding partner Joyston D’Mello. The effort is presented as a bridge for business, policy, cultural and community engagement between India and Israel.
