India Issues New Solar Project Tenders in Nagaland and Gujarat

The Department of Power in Nagaland has released a tender for the installation of 1.65 MW of grid‑connected rooftop solar systems at village council halls under the Chief Minister’s Community Solar Partnership Initiative. The work, divided into three zones covering 550 villages, must be completed by 31 December 2026 and requires the use of domestically manufactured modules that meet specific performance guarantees. Bids close on 24 June 2026.

NTPC Limited, a central‑government power producer, has posted a separate tender for operation and maintenance services for its 20 MW solar PV plant at the Jhanor‑Gandhar gas plant in Gujarat’s Bharuch district. The contract, valued on a lump‑sum basis for two years and one day, stipulates detailed compliance, performance guarantees and a bid‑submission deadline of 29 June 2026.
