India-Pakistan Border Drug and Weapon Haul Intercepted in Rajasthan

On August 2, 2026, Bikaner police in the Khajuwala area of Rajasthan intercepted a drone drop from Pakistan that contained a large shipment of illicit goods. The seizure included about 10 kg of heroin, valued at roughly 50 crore rupees, eleven pistols (including Turkish Zigana, Glock and Star models), a substantial cache of cartridges, and the drone itself.

The operation, dubbed “Shockwave,” was led by SP Mrunal Kachhawa and IG Om Prakash, with support from human‑intelligence sources. A suspect, Virendra Singh of Jodhpur, was arrested at the scene. Authorities say the haul is part of an international narcotics‑arms network that operates across the India‑Pakistan border and may have links extending to Punjab and other Indian states. The investigation remains ongoing as police seek further members of the syndicate.
