India recruitment: UPSC releases results and UP schedules major exams

Major recruitment and examination updates have been announced for government positions in India. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results for various recruitment examinations conducted in July 2026. These positions span multiple sectors, including roles such as Deputy Controller of Explosives, professors at the National Sugar Institute, and various medical officers within the Ministry of Railways.

In Uttar Pradesh, the Education Service Selection Commission has scheduled several significant examinations through December. This includes recruitment for principals and assistant professors in non-aided colleges, with written exams for 111 principal positions set for September 24. Additionally, the Special TET process for currently employed teachers in primary and upper primary schools is underway, with the examination scheduled for November 3, 2026.
