Shafali Verma provided an aggressive start with 69 runs off 37 balls, while former captain Harmanpreet Kaur anchored the innings with an unbeaten 91 off just 41 deliveries. Kaur’s performance marked a significant return to form following a recent period of low scores and her decision to step down from the captaincy.

In response, Zimbabwe was restricted to 124/7. Nandani Sharma led the bowling effort for India, claiming figures of 3/18. Sharne Mayers was the top scorer for Zimbabwe, contributing 60 runs. The victory marks India’s largest home win by runs in women’s T20 internationals.
