Indian Air Force Sarang team performs aerial display in Egypt

The Indian Air Force (IAF) Sarang Helicopter Display Team performed an aerial display at the 2nd Edition of the El Alamein International Airshow in Egypt, held from September 8 to 10. Flying a four-helicopter formation of the indigenously manufactured Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Dhruv, the team performed maneuvers with the Pyramids of Giza as a backdrop.

The participation of the Sarang team, noted as the world's only five-helicopter display team, is intended to showcase Indian aviation excellence and strengthen defense and diplomatic ties between India and Egypt. Air Marshal Yalla Umesh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Maintenance Command, visited the contingent to interact with the air warriors during the event.
