Indian Army Chief Dhiraj Seth concludes official visit to Nepal

Indian Army Chief General Dhiraj Seth has concluded a four-day official visit to Nepal, aimed at strengthening bilateral defence cooperation. During his visit from August 16 to 19, General Seth met with Nepali Army Chief General Ashok Raj Sigdel to discuss expanding military collaboration between the two nations.

As part of the visit, President Ram Chandra Paudel conferred the honorary rank of General of the Nepali Army upon General Seth at Shital Niwas. To support Nepal’s disaster preparedness and humanitarian response capabilities, General Seth also handed over vehicles and medical equipment.

General Seth’s itinerary included paying tribute at the Army Pavilion in Tundikhel, visiting the Nepali Army Command and Staff College in Shivapuri to promote academic cooperation, and meeting with high-level officials to discuss the longstanding partnership between India and Nepal.
