He linked the warning to Pakistan’s alleged support for terrorism and referenced the one‑year anniversary of Operation Sindoor, an 88‑hour Indian strike campaign launched after a terrorist attack in Pahalgam.

Pakistan’s Inter‑Services Public Relations (ISPR) criticised the remarks as dangerous, “warmongering” rhetoric that threatens regional peace. The ISPR urged New Delhi to abandon hostility and pursue peaceful coexistence, highlighting the heightened tension between the nuclear‑armed neighbours.
