In Bangladesh, the delegation arrived on August 30, 2026, and met with the Indian High Commissioner, Dinesh Trivedi. The group will be hosted by the Bangladesh Armed Forces and is scheduled to interact with senior civil and military officials.

In the Maldives, the delegation arrived in Male on Sunday. They held consultations with the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) leadership and Vice Chief of Defence Force Brigadier General Ahmed Ghiya. Additionally, the group met with Minister of Defence and National Service Hassan Rasheed to discuss regional security and bilateral defence cooperation.
