Indian Railways announces 3,548 graduate-level NTPC vacancies

Indian Railways has announced 3,548 graduate-level vacancies under the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC–Graduate) recruitment via the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs). The recruitment, issued under Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 06/2026, offers opportunities in commercial services, train operations, accounts, and administration.

The vacancies are distributed across four roles: - Goods Train Manager: 2,750 posts - Senior Clerk Cum Typist: 371 posts - Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist: 300 posts - Chief Commercial Cum Ticket Supervisor: 127 posts

Salary structures follow the Seventh Central Pay Commission. The Chief Commercial Cum Ticket Supervisor role offers an initial basic pay of Rs 35,400 (Pay Level 6), while the other three categories offer Rs 29,200 (Pay Level 5).

The online application process began on October 8 and will remain open until November 6, 2026. The deadline for examination fee payment is November 8, with an application modification window scheduled from November 9 to November 18. Eligible candidates must hold a degree from a recognized university and meet specific age requirements, which are set at 18–33 years as of January 1, 2027, with applicable relaxations for reserved categories.
