Indian solar glass firm Borosil Renewables and Siemens Energy post strong FY2026 earnings
Borosil Renewables, a Mumbai‑based solar glass manufacturer, reported Q4 FY2026 revenue of ₹4.4 billion, up 17.8% year‑on‑year, and a profit after tax of ₹1.69 billion, reversing a loss in the same quarter a year earlier. EBITDA rose 431% to ₹1.45 billion and earnings per share shifted to a profit of ₹12.06. Sales volumes grew 15% and the company plans to expand capacity by 60% with a ₹9.5 billion investment in two new furnaces.
Siemens Energy India Limited posted Q2 FY2026 revenue of ₹2,394 crore, a 27.4% increase from the prior year, and profit from operations of 19.4% of revenue, up 160 basis points. Net profit after tax rose 52.4% to ₹375 crore, while the order backlog grew 22.2% to ₹18,433 crore. Earnings per share reached ₹10.52. The CEO highlighted strong demand driven by electrification, decarbonisation and export opportunities.
