Indian travel-tech firms Yatra Online and EaseMyTrip report Q1 results

Indian travel-tech companies Yatra Online and EaseMyTrip reported their first-quarter financial results for fiscal year 2027, showing varying impacts from geopolitical conditions.

Yatra Online reported a 16.3% year-over-year increase in gross bookings to INR 21.0 billion, though revenue from operations declined by approximately 10% to INR 1.88 billion. The company noted that conflict in West Asia disrupted air connectivity and raised fares, which negatively impacted its Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) segment. Executive Chairman Dhruv Shringi stated that international destination inquiries fell by 10% to 15% during peak disruptions.

EaseMyTrip reported a 14.8% year-on-year rise in Gross Booking Revenue (GBR) to INR 2,371 crore, with revenue from operations increasing 18.4% to INR 134.7 crore. Despite challenges in the Middle East, the company’s Dubai operations saw a 45.2% year-on-year growth in GBR, reaching INR 461.8 crore.
