Indiana offers disaster relief for Warrick County tornado victims
Warrick County residents who suffered property or home damage during the June 21, 2026, tornado outbreak are now eligible to apply for financial assistance through the Indiana State Disaster Relief Fund.
Warrick County Emergency Management announced that the assistance is intended for qualifying damages not covered by insurance. Applicants must specifically select the June 21, 2026, date on the application form to ensure they are applying for the correct event, as Indiana is also managing recovery efforts for separate severe weather and flooding that occurred in August.
Applications are processed through the Indiana State Homeland Security via the state’s Disaster Relief hub. Officials encourage affected residents to submit their information promptly.
