India's Adhik Maas Shivratri 2026 set for June 13 with full puja schedule
On June 13 2026, the rare Adhik Maas monthly Shivratri will be observed across India, marking the third occurrence in three years. According to the Hindu calendar, the Krishna paksha Chaturdashi of the month of Jyestha begins at 04:07 AM on June 13 and ends at 12:19 PM on June 14.
The day’s auspicious muhurats are listed as Brahma muhurat (04:07–04:49 AM), Vyjay muhurat (02:33–03:28 PM), Ghodulī muhurat (07:03–07:24 PM) and Nisha muhurat (11:56 PM–11:38 AM). Devotees are advised to perform an early‑morning bath, wear clean clothing and conduct worship at home or a temple using ganges water, milk, curd, ghee, honey, sandalwood paste, bel leaves, dhatura, bhang and flowers, reciting “Om Namah Shivaya” 108 times.
