India's budget cars: Sunroof models under ₹10 Lakh and SUV power battle

Several Indian vehicles now offer electric, voice‑activated sunroofs at a price below ₹10 Lakh. The Hyundai i20’s Magna variant starts around ₹7 Lakh with an electric sunroof and premium interior features. Tata’s Punch (Pure+ S) and Altroz (Pure+ S) both provide a voice‑assisted sunroof from about ₹7.4 Lakh and carry a five‑star safety rating. The Hyundai Exter SUV includes a voice‑enabled electric sunroof from roughly ₹8 Lakh, along with six airbags and connected‑car technology.

In the mid‑size SUV segment, Tata’s Sierra and Kia’s Seltos are compared. Both offer 1.5‑L petrol, turbo‑petrol and diesel engines with multiple transmission options. The Sierra delivers slightly better fuel efficiency in petrol and diesel trims, while the Seltos provides higher peak power in its turbo‑petrol version. Prices overlap, with the Sierra ranging from ₹11.49 Lakh to ₹21.29 Lakh and the Seltos from ₹10.99 Lakh to ₹21.82 Lakh, positioning them as competing choices for Indian buyers seeking performance and value.
