India's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh touts Operation Sindoor and rising strength in Hanoi

Speaking to the Indian community in Hanoi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that “Operation Sindoor is a symbol of India’s rising strength, confidence and capability.” He reaffirmed India’s “no‑first‑use” nuclear policy and warned that the country is ready to respond firmly to any hostile actions.

Singh also highlighted rapid progress in the semiconductor sector and invited global investors to partner in India’s development. He marked the visit as the ten‑year anniversary of the enhanced comprehensive strategic partnership with Vietnam and outlined an upcoming trip to South Korea, where he will hold bilateral talks to strengthen defence industry cooperation and maritime security in the Indo‑Pacific region.
